We absolutely loved it there. We usually rent out all the available rooms because It has direct access to the lake and we are able to dock our boat there also. We have been going there for nearly 20 years.

My husband and I escaped for a 2 day anniversary fishing trip and this place was perfect! Cute little room with full kitchen with fridge and stove. Right on the water so we didn't even have to take the boat out of the water if we didn't want to. It was perfect!!
Absolute Florida gem right here. Beautiful little cottage style resort. Old school Florida style, right on the lake with a cute dock that brings you out onto Lake Placid where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. The room was clean. The staff was amazing. The only two changes I would suggest are 1 a full-length mirror outside the bathroom and 2 instant hot water bc we like hot showers and there is a small hot water tank. It's not a deal breaker, though. We made it work. We would most definitely be back.
So glad we picked this place! The only complaint would be the bugs on the windows & doors. They were inside too but not as bad, but we were literally RIGHT on the lake so considering that - the room was clean and check in ready even though we didn't get there till really late. Mrs Veronica made our stay very pleasant. The view from our room, #4 was perfect. You can fish right off the pier & the spot lights come on for night fishing. We were able to see alot of fish at that point. We are already talking about going back. There's a grill and picnic tables and a hose for cleaning off your feet or fish. There is no fish cleaning station but no biggie. Lots of restaurants, bait shops and downtown is pretty close too.
My family and I been coming here for the last two years, very affordable and friendly budget get away. The waters nice, rooms are what you need and all have full size kitchens. Boat ramp close by, restaurants and stores nearby. Fishing is nice at night! You'll definitely catch something! There isn't restrictions other than being respectful, so your guaranteed a good stay upon your visit.
